Undying love and devotion

One minute the sun is shining brightly on the white house behind me and the next a dull grey covers us but there, off in the distance and over the ocean, is a bright blue sky on its way. It's raining, snowing, shining or dull many times a day, much like my life. I've cut back on feeding the birds but still worry about them when I'm gone. Particularly the hummingbirds which are in no short supply already this year. Well, I had several who spent the winter with me and now the summertime ones have joined them. I handed my poor neighbor a hummingbird feeder and told him that it was his job to take care of the little birds now. He didn't balk but then I didn't give him much of a chance.

Though the move is pushed back another week, I am remaining semi-optimistic that it will happen. Well, the bottom line is that it is time to move somewhere so my landlords can put the house on the market. Besides I can't afford this place any longer. Anyways, I'll know more about the car later today and will then have a better idea about my plans. There are days when anything seems possible, particularly after a good night's sleep, and right now this does.

The response I've received from local tourism bureaus around the state about my plans to travel around has been amazing! There are already so many places to go and things to see that it might take me a while just to get around here. Anyways, you can see why I have to be positive about Rover (who just turned 226,000 miles), because this is just too darned exciting not to be!

Now the sun is in complete shine, my disc is finished burning and it is time to see if this car is fixable. Wow, what a beautiful day!
