Pretty soon I'll be a traveling writer and photographer! Everything is taking shape and I'm actually going to do this thing. I'll be picking up the trailer soon and must say that I couldn't have gotten luckier than with the people who are renting it to me. This trip speaks to the wanderlust of many. I really am fortunate.

My itinerary is open at the moment but expected to take a firmer shape during the month ahead. I'm not sure that I'll use this blog to record the trip. What do you think? Should I have a separate blog and what should it be called? There are so many details to work out.

One thing for sure, I'll be living in luxury. The trailer is 19', practically new, extra wide and has all of the amenities of home. More details and photos will follow - you can be sure of that! I know! What do you think of Crusty middle-aged traveler?
