Ahhh, things change quickly. One friend called me dynamic. Most of my friends never believed that I was leaving town this week. But hey, I got most of my stuff packed, had a successful sale and thought everything was a go. Things change quickly some times. So now, I'm kicking back for a few moments and trying to make decisions.
I keep picturing myself towing a little travel trailer behind Rover and heading down the road with everything that I need. The trailer is self-contained and secure. There is room for my clothes and work tools. I have a small flat screened TV, a lap top computer, a printer and my goose down quilt. I picture Rover running like a well-tuned machine, now that I have the plug wires on securely and there is no noise from the catalytic converter. Wishful thinking. Oh, and there is the fast, fat and long lens for shooting action and wildlife. I'm heading out into the world, first to cover every corner of Washington State. I can see it but don't know how to make it happen.
I'm putting feelers out to rent a travel trailer, having decided that a tent trailer just wouldn't be secure enough. But the rest of my needs add up. Still, just a trailer and a laptop would be all I need to get started - everything else would work out from there. Oh, shoot, but that catalytic thing is $400. Rover turned 225,000 miles on my way to Seattle the other day and I'm afraid that it is time for a new, used one. So, car, trailer and laptop. I'm putting my vibes out to the universe................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The good news is that if I get this trip together there are people who are interested in selling it to those who promote. They thing it is a fantastic idea. And there are so many who are envious because they'd love to do the same thing. I have the time, the desire and the ambition, now all I need is the equipment. It will all work out if this is the right next direction for my life.
So, send your positive thoughts and ideas this way. I can use it all.

Get out there! Have the time of your life!
Hey, try a little Bruce Springstein, maybe
"Thunder Road". "Born to run", whooo, Daddy
that is good.
Be cool, and tell of your adventures. There
are a million stories out there.
Have your grestest day!
Joe
Where'd you take the beautiful big cat photo?
Like joe said, get out there and have the time of your life. You deserve it. I wish you all the best!!
Still, as you kick back to think about it, remember, life is short!
Once all those tedious preparations are completed and you're on the road, I'll bet you'd be happy about it.
Best of luck!
...and please keep us posted.
